Who we are

The inaugural Denver Immersive Summit took place on November 10th, 2018, bringing together creators, learners, and fans from across industries in this diverse and exciting creative area. Since then, Immersive Denver has supported ongoing community programming and events and continued to advocate locally for support of immersive creators and educational pathways.

These activities are led by co-founders Jenny Filipetti, artist and professor at the University of Colorado Denver Inworks, and David Thomas, director of academic technology and professor in the University of Colorado Denver College of Architecture and Planning.

For the 2018 Denver Immersive Summit, we were joined by an incredible advisory board and program committee. Learn more about them here.

Position Colorado as a national immersive hub

We believe Colorado is one of the best places in the world to be making immersive work. Our arts community is as collaborative as it is ambitious and pioneering. Denver is already home to one of the country’s most thriving theater communities alongside vibrant tech, design, and entrepreneurial industries.

Celebrate and explore

Join us in celebrating creative immersive work and exploring the possibilities for the future of immersive art, design, and entertainment in the region.

Connect the community

From haunted houses and immersive theatre to puzzle rooms, VR, game-making, and beyond, we all have a lot to learn from each other about creating meaningful human experiences. With Immersive Denver, our goal is to connect creators and community members from across practices and industries.
